NEW ORLEANS (WALA) - We don't get the chance to hear from the coordinators at Alabama very often. They are usually off limits in the Saban regime.
And we won't hear much from Jim McElwain after this week, either. The Tide's offensive coordinator is set to take over as the new head coach at Colorado State.
Of course, he won't take over there full-time until Tuesday. He still has a little business to take care of on Monday night.
McElwain's final game at Alabama may be his biggest challenge when his offense goes up against a talented LSU defense.
But, his biggest challenge the past couple weeks has been the juggling act -- between his current duties as the Tide's offensive coordinator and his future job as the head coach at Colorado State.
The players aren't concerned about McElwain wearing two hats as they prepare for the BCS National Championship game on Monday night.
