Fairhope RB goes to Southern Miss

Fairhope star running back Jamal Woodyard has inked with Southern Miss. Woodyard was on a torrid pace last season - 19 touchdowns, well over 1,000 yards through five games. But an ankle injury cut his season short.

Woodyard said he's excited to play with the Golden Eagles.

"It feels good. Everything I've been working on for the past three years is finally about to pay off. I'm excited for next year."
