SHREVEPORT, La. (AP) - Police in Shreveport say former NBA player and LSU star Stromile Swift has been arrested for stalking the same woman he allegedly threatened in February.
Authorities say they received a call Thursday night from Chaquinita Pouncy, who said Swift was following her vehicle.
Swift was arrested after officers located both vehicles near each other.
In February, Shreveport police arrested Swift after he allegedly sent threatening text messages to Pouncy and then showed up at her home with a gun.
The 6-foot-10 Swift, who played two seasons at LSU, was the second pick of the 2000 NBA Draft by the then-Vancouver Grizzlies.
Shreveport City Court records show that Swift is free on bond and does not have an attorney at this time.
