MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A late 12-0 run by South Alabama turned a five-point deficit in to a 65-56 win over Florida Atlantic Thursday night a the Mitchell Center.
The win was South Alabama’s second in a row and snapped FAU’s three-game winning streak.
USA ends a two-game home skid to the Owls.
Mychal Ammons led the Jags with 18 points.
The Owls went without a point for more than five minutes while the Jags reeled off 12 straight points.
USA finished the contest on a 16-2 run.
