MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - In the penultimate game of their second season, the South Alabama Jaguars took on Henderson State Saturday at Ladd-Peebles Stadium.

The Jags were down by 1 point in the second quarter until T.J. Glover scored a touchdown to make it 20 to 14. In the fourth quarter, Courtney Smith made a big catch to set up a C.J. Bennett rush for the touchdown.

But it wasn't over at that point. With a minute left in the game, Henderson State scores to cut the defict to six points. They attempted an onside kick, but Smith makes another big play with the recovery.

The Jaguars escape with a 37 to 31 victory, but they were not happy with their performance.
