MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - In front of a sellout crowd, who in large part were behind the South squad, the North team wins the 2012 Senior Bowl 23-13.
The North had touchdown passes from Michigan State's Kirk Cousins and Wisconsin's Russell Wilson. Carson Wiggs of Purdue also hit three field goals.
The University of Alabama made its presence known on the South team. Bama linebacker Courtney Upshaw recorded a sack and two solo tackles. Tight end Brad Smelley had one catch for 24 yards, one he came back for near the sidelines. Defensive Back DeQuan Menzie also had a solo tackle.
Arkansas' Joe Adams led the South's aerial attack, with six catches for 116 yards.
