The Saints came marching in at St. Paul’s Homecoming Pep Rally! They kicked off the homecoming celebrations with a marching parade leading to their stadium, and ended with an energetic First and Ten ‘Pep Rally of the Week’.
Students from elementary grades through high school filled the stadium stands to cheer on their fellow Saints. Although cheering and school spirit charged the atmosphere, one nine-year-old stole the show!
Third grader, Mase, took on a challenge to out-dance one of the high school football players and led the crowd in his dance to DJ Khalid’s “All We Do Is Win”, and ALL hands went in the air. Mase didn’t stop there! He wowed the crowd with his break-dancing moves and his worm crawling skills.
A spirit competition was held for the “Best Seat in the House”. The winner will sit sideline at the homecoming game on a comfy sofa, complete with served refreshments from staff members. Although one winner was chosen and allowed to invite three guests, all of the kids showed great spirit and support for their school.
Overall, the theme of the pep rally was extreme fun, even when the playful Saints mascot stole my microphone….and the footchase began! Check out the video in the video tab to see the Saints’ spirit!
Your school could be the next ‘Pep Rally of the Week’!
