CLEVELAND, Ohio (WALA) - Fresh off the biggest game of his young career, Trent Richardson surpassed the 100-yard plateau yet again, this time against rival the Baltimore Ravens (6-2).
His Cleveland Browns (2-7) lost the game 25-15, but the Pensacola-native rushed for 105 yards on 25 carries. He also added 6 catches for 31 yards.
Richardson is the first rookie to run for more than 100 yards against the Ravens since Jacksonville's Fred Taylor in 1998.
In a winning effort last week against San Diego, the former Crimson Tide standout pounded his way to 122 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries. He caught a pass in the win, too, for 12 yards.
If performance is any indication, Richardson has put the nagging rib injury sustained in week six completely behind him.
