MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The Tide faithful are hoping Daphne's T.J. Yeldon can help carry Alabama to its second career victory over Notre Dame.  After picking up the “Mr. Football” award for the state of Alabama in high school, Yeldon's success has continued at the capstone.

Pop Quiz: Which Alabama running back hit the 1,000-yard rushing mark as a Freshman?  It wasn’t Mark Ingram or Trent Richardson.  The answer is Daphne’s T.J. Yeldon. He hit 1,000 yards exactly, which is an Alabama Freshmen record and 12 total touchdown’s, which ties an Alabama Freshmen Record.

Yeldon is also no stranger to big plays in big games.  He caught the game winner against LSU and had a touchdown along with big gains against Georgia to help the tide take the SEC title.  The National Title could be next for T.J.
