MIAMI (WALA) - Dozens of Bama fans are taking-in the BCS experience in South Florida by RV.

FOX10 got word of some intense fans that have been camping out at C.B. Smith Park in Pembroke Pines, Fla. less than 30 minutes from SunLife Stadium.

Upon entering the camp grounds, you’ll find a sea of crimson colored flags, cars, and banners hung over massive campers.

A group of five families traveled down to the campgrounds ahead of Monday’s big game. Not all of them, however, even have a ticket to the BCS National Championship.

The group consists of travelers from Mobile, Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, etc.

They have been traveling to away games together since 1992.

FOX10 News reporter is hanging with the locals at the campgrounds and will have their story tonight on FOX10 News at 9 p.m.
