Tide tramples Tigers in Iron Bowl, 49-0

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WALA) - All eyes in the Heart of Dixie are on the Iron Bowl, which is predicted to be one of the most lopsided affairs in the rivalry’s recent history.

Alabama (10-1, 6-1 SEC) won the contest 42-14 last season and comes into this game as a 31.5 point favorite.

Mobile native A.J. McCarron could move to 2,500 yards on the season with a strong effort today. He has 21 touchdowns this season with only two interceptions; both came in a loss to Texas A &M.

Daphne product T.J. Yeldon figures to continue to share the Tide workload. The former Trojan has 809 yards this season and 9 scores.

Auburn is winless in the SEC, and hopes to finish its season by beating its biggest rival.  An upset would give the Tigers a 4-8 season, with no win meaning more than this.
