TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WALA) - The No. 1 Alabama football team practiced in full pads for two hours on Tuesday at the Thomas-Drew Practice fields focusing on the upcoming game against the fifth-ranked LSU Tigers.

“This is like another homecoming for me,” said junior wide receiver Kenny Bell. “I grew up a couple hours from LSU and know a lot of people that play for them. This will be two good teams playing against each other. Whoever plays the hardest and is most physical will come out with the win.”

In addition to leading the overall series, the Crimson Tide also holds a 24-9-3 advantage in games played on the road against the Tigers. LSU currently sports the longest home field winning streak at 22 games, which dates back to a 13-3 loss to the No. 1 Florida Gators in 2009.

Kickoff for Saturday’s game is set for 7 p.m. (CDT) at Tigers Stadium in Baton Rouge, La.
