MOBILE, Ala. - We all like to have flowers in the house because they just brighten things up! Right now, camellias are blooming and hundreds of camellias will be on display this weekend at the Camellia Club of Mobile's 73rd Annual Camellia Show.

Sharon Evans from the Camellia Club stopped by Studio 10 to show off some of the camellia blooms and talk about the event. Sharon says the flowers come in all sizes and colors ranging from dinner-plate sized blooms to bigger lily-shaped flowers.

The camellia show will be Saturday from 2pm - 7pm, and Sunday from noon - 4pm at Bel Air Mall by the Target/Belk entrance. Sharon says the show is one of the largest in the south with over 3,000 blooms.

Experts will be on hand to answer gardening questions, and some plants will be for sale.

If you've been thinking about starting a garden, this event will be perfect to attend and ask questions about the best ways to get started.

It's free and open to everyone.
