We took a trip to Barrow Fine Furniture and compared some couches in the store and why their prices are completely different. One was double what the other one costs. The reason is very simple: The leather is coming from 2 different parts which can make a couch cheaper. Where as if you sit on a couch with top quality leather throughout as well as extra amenities like lacing and a savage effect it can add a significant price to the couch.
