Cut out pictures of decorated rooms with furniture you could see in your house, and start building on what you like. Then you can shop for those pieces of furniture. Don’t be afraid to branch out and try different things.

The next question is, if you have dresser drawers that stick when you try to open them, what is the best remedy? Sarah says the answer to that question is, wax paste. Just rub a little on the drawer guides until they are properly lubricated, and open and close easily. The wax paste only costs a few dollars. If that doesn’t work, you can call Barrow Fine Furniture and they may be able to offer another solution.

The next question is, "What’s the best way to arrange a room with two focal points?" Sarah says that depends on the floor plan of the room. First see what type of furniture and how much furniture will fit in the room. She recommends taking pictures of your space and taking the pictures to Barrow’s to let someone on staff help you design your room.
