(Official Press Release Below)

Gulf Shores, AL (January 4th, 2012) - The Hangout and BP are pleased to announce the premier beach side watch party for the Allstate BCS Championship between No. 1 ranked LSU and No. 2 ranked Alabama on Jan. 9, 2012.

The event is in connection with the Gulf Coast Seafood & Tourism Bash sponsored by BP; a two‐week celebration of Gulf Coast seafood, culture and tourism designed to maximize the exceptional amount of
exposure the Gulf Coast is receiving from what some fans are calling “the game of the century, part deux.”
The watch party will be held at The Hangout beginning at 5 p.m. and will feature the Alabama vs. LSU game on
20+ screens. It wouldn’t be a Hangout party without great food, fun, and games. There will be complimentary
tailgating fare for the first 400 people in addition to the regular menu and drink specials. Football fans can
compete in the “Fantastic Fanatic” costume contest, trivia, corn hole, football toss, frozen t‐shirt, plasma car,
and square board for lots of prizes including a pair of Hangout Music Festival tickets. This is sure to be the
biggest beachfront football party of the year!

Attendees will be encouraged to enter for a chance to win one of four Gulf Coast family vacation packages for
four to a premier destination in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana or Mississippi, as part of the Gulf Coast Seafood & Tourism Bash presented by BP. Any U.S. resident can enter between Jan. 2 and Jan. 13 by texting GULFCST to 76060. (SEE RULES BELOW).* Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism coordinated the Alabama vacation
package.

“The Hangout is excited to work with BP to highlight the unrivaled seafood and culture of the Gulf Coast,” said
Tara McMeans, marketing director for The Hangout. “With teams from Alabama and Louisiana playing for
college football’s national championship, this is a great time to promote the Gulf Coast’s seafood and tourism
jewels, and there is no better place to do it than The Hangout!”

“We’re working with the Gulf Coast’s seafood and tourism industries to spotlight two of the best things about
this unique region,” said Crystal Ashby, BP executive vice president of government and public affairs.
“Together, we want to deliver a clear message that the Gulf’s beaches, restaurants, fishing and attractions
provide unsurpassed vacation experiences.”
