MOBILE, Ala. - There's good news on the way for anyone who's ever lost a remote control. New software is developing "gesture recognition" that let's your TV, PC, or tablet be controlled with a wave of your hand!

This technology can be used with any device that has a camera. The camera read's a users motions. For instance, a wave browses channels. Sliding a hand up and down controls volume.

With gesture control, instead of learning to operate a remote control, the device gets to know you better by adapting to your body language. Sounds pretty handy!

The NFL plans on using technology to fill stadium seats by giving fans the ability to watch the game live at the stadium, and on their smartphone.

The New England Patriots launched the first stadium wide, free Wi-Fi with streaming video, letting fans  pick from six different camera angles for a replay, order snacks from their seat, and even find the shortest bathroom line.

Eventually, this technology is expected in every NFL stadium.

Now this  old-school tech-mobile isn't something you see everday: The original Batmobile used in the 1960's Batman TV series sold for $4.6 million dollars at a collector car auction on Saturday.

There were some concerns about if collectors would pay so much for the car because over the years, so many imitations were made.

The car had been owned by legendary car customizer, George Barris. It included a 10% sales commission.

Finally, Happy Birthday Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft.

That's your Daily Tech.
