4th Annual St. Jude Memphis to Mobile Run

The 4th Annual St. Jude Memphis to Mobile Run is coming up soon!  

This years run dates are April 16-20.  There will again be a relay style run of the 391 miles from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis TN, to Mobile.  It takes about 74 hours to run the route.

Runners from across the country will help fundraise for the hospital.  This event has raised more than $200,000.  That money allows St. Jude to continue to lead the world in pediatric research and treatment of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
 
The event is more than just a running event, so if you can't run 3 miles...that's okay. They have a cook team that provides three meals a day for both teams.  A drive team picks up and delivers motor homes.  There is also an end of run celebration.  Volunteers and organizers are needed to help with all of these activities.  There is also a great need for corporate sponsors. Currently, more than 100 local children are being treated by St. Jude's so every little bit helps.

For anyone interested in corporate sponsorships or volunteering, there is an informational meeting open to the public set for  Tuesday, February 19th.  It will take place at the Buffalo Wild Wings of Mobile Conference Room at 6:30.
