5th Annual GO RUN

The 5th Annual GO RUN is happening Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 8:00 am. More than $63,000 was raised for GYN Cancer Research at the USA Mitchell Cancer Institute at the 2011 GO RUN, and organizers are hoping that even more will be raised this year.

You can put a team together consisting of 5 or more participants. Each individual on the team must register, and each team must submit a team application. Team applications can be found online at www.usamci.com/gorun .

Awards will be given in various categories. There will be awards for the 5K for top male and female overall, Masters, Grandmasters, Senior Grandmasters, and Race walker. Awards will also be given out to the top three males and females in age groups: 9 and under,10 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70 - 74 and 75 - 99. In the Fun Run categories, awards will be given to the top 3 male and female. Award Ribbons will be given to all Fun Run Participants.

T-Shirts will be given to participants. Keep in mind, shirts tend to be form fitting. After the race, there will be vendors on location, drawings for fantastic door prizes,GO Run merchandise, music and children’s activities. Food and beverages will be provided before and after the race.
