"Are You My Mother" adoption event

The Mobile County Animal Shelter invites you to take your mom to the shelter on Mothers Day weekend and adopt a cuddly cat or dog. On Saturday, May 12th, from 10:00am - 4:00pm, the shelter will be hosting the "Are You My Mother" adoption event and open house.

There will be lots of dogs and cats up for adoption. Some of them will even have adoption fees waived! In addition, there will be a microchip and rabies clinic from 10:00am - 12:00pm. For a monetary donation to the shelter, you can enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn, and drinks.

You are also encouraged to bring dog or cat food, treats, collars, and leashes for the shelter animals. If you help shelter pets, you will be eligible for a nice door prize! Children will face painting and pictures with your new furry family member.
