BayBears and Eastern Shore Toyota/Hyundai Honor Marines

On Wednesday, August 15th Hank Aaron Stadium welcomes the Marine Corps League National Convention to Hank Aaron Stadium.  Marines from all over the U.S. will join us for a special tribute to the U.S. Marine Corps presented by Austal USA, Eastern Shore Toyota and Eastern Shore Hyundai.

A tribute will be held to feature three fallen Marines from our area - Marine Corporal Joseph C. Whitehead, Marine Sergeant Foster L. Harrington and Marine Lance Corporal Bradley M. Faircloth.  This comes with the assistance of Mobile’s 3rd Force Recon, USMC Recruiting and the Marine Corps League of Mobile. 

The Marines will have static displays in front of Hank Aaron Stadium and will provide a “Recon” entrance for the Marine Corps League Commandant Vic Voltagglio to throw out a first pitch.  Members of the final Honor Flight from Mobile that will be in attendance will also be recognized.

As with every game at Hank Aaron Stadium – ALL Military, active duty, reserve or retired receives a complimentary ticket courtesy of Austal USA.  Please spread the word to any veterans or veterans groups you know to come to the game complimentary on Wednesday, August 15th to welcome the Marine Corps League National Convention to Hank Aaron Stadium.

Eastern Shore Hyundai also is set to celebrate those who serve with two events in September.  On September 6th, come take part in the Honor Flight Golf Tournament at Timber Creek Country Club.  Then Honor Flight VIII departs from Mobile International Airport on September 19th.
