Make plans to support Mobile's own three day local music festival happening at the Alabama Music Box and Island Thyme in Downtown Mobile. There will be musical acts performing from Thursday, May 12 at 9:00pm - May 15 at 5:00am.
There will be 23 local acts ranging from folk to hip hop to alternative and indie rock to country. With this many different styles of music, there's something for everybody.
Local clothing designer Nikki Burkett of Lunatix & Co will be selling clothes at the show and designing clothing for some of the bands. Local comedian Sir William Masters and other local area comedians will host the event. You can also look forward to fire twirlers and a special Coastline Chronicles menu at Island Thyme, which will be open late every night.
Coastline Chronicles 2 Lineup Will Include:
20,000 Leagues Under The Sea • Adam Taylor • Alex Joy • Bay City Brass Band • The Cimarron Club • Cockfight • Edward Appleby • Fargo • Gregg Fells • The Handsome Scoundrels/ The Old Guard • James Copeland Band • L. F. Knighton • Lane Fisher Mandown • Seduction Bomb • The Suzies (members of the Tiles) • Too Far From Amsterdam • Under the Tree • Underhill Family Orchestra • Venom (accompanied live by members of The Port Wine Stain and Underhill Family Orchestra)
The show will also feature Coastline Chronicles house DJ, The Company Man, and a special guest DJ set by Strange Rover. You'll also see special guests Banditos out of Birmingham, as well as The Architects, a band fresh off tour with My Chemical Romance and Circa Survive.
