A local school teacher is raising money through her art page, Berg Home, for tornado victims. Proceeds raised from “Crisis Crosses” will go to people who were affected by the tornado that moved through Mobile on Christmas.
Crisis Crosses are handmade crosses made from wood from damaged homes and buildings in Midtown. Each piece of wood is tagged from the exact spot where it was picked up.
Crisis Crosses are being sold for $25. Orders can be placed on Berg Home's Facebook page , and by contacting Carey Arensburg by phone at 251.259.0307.
