You can enjoy "Animals in Art" June 1, 2012 from 5:00 - 8:00pm, and on June 9, 2012 from 10:00am - 3:00pm. The events will take place at 414 Equality Avenue in Fairhope.
The event will be split up into two parts. Part one will take place on Friday, June 1 from 5:00 - 8:00 to coincide with Fairhope’s First Friday Art Walk. The Nall Foundation will host a pet adoption featuring beautiful, adoptable rescues from The Stray Love Foundation. There will also be an “Animals in Art” exhibit focusing on many of Nall’s inspiring and intriguing animal related pieces.
Beverages and light hors d’oeuvres will be served at the foundation that evening. You will be able to enjoy fabulous art, and get to know adorable animals while you indulge in good food and friends who share a passion for art and animals as well.
Part two will take place on Saturday, June 9. From 10:00am - 3:00pm, an award winning photographer will be set up, taking professional photos of you and your pets. The photos will be taken within a beautifully laid out background of Nall art.
Photos are a donation of $150 per sitting, but larger donations will be accepted and appreciated. Each sitting will receive two 8 x 10 prints, other sizes and poses will be available for purchase as well. To reserve your sitting time you can email info@straylovefoundation.com or call 251-540-2236. You can also just show up on June 9.
While you're waiting for your photo session, you can enjoy the “Animals in Art” exhibit which will still be up for everyone’s enjoyment. Nall is specially pricing some of his pieces just for this event. Refreshments will be served.
Funds raised through these events will help the Stray Love Foundation animal rescue organization. The rescue is in dire need of a cargo van for transporting their animals and adoption supplies. The goal of this fundraiser is to bring in enough money to purchase this van. Your donations are tax deductible.
