Holiday Shopping-Christmas Jubilee 2012

The holiday shopping season is upon us, and you can get all of your holiday shopping done in one spot.

The 28th annual Christmas Jubilee Holiday Market, presented by The Junior League of Mobile, kicked off Thursday morning at the Greater Gulf State Fairgrounds with over 100 merchants from around the country.

This year, nearly half of the vendors are new. Beth Sumlin with the Junior League of Mobile says that you will be able to find something for everyone on your holiday checklist at this event.

The Christmas Jubilee is the main fundraiser for The Junior League of Mobile, and the Holiday Market has raised more than $4 million dollars since its inception.

A variety of food, clothes, accessories, children's toys, home decor, wrapping paper, art, and much more can be purchased at the Holiday Market.

Thursday, November 15:
10:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Friday, November 16:
9:00 a.m.– 9:00 p.m.
Saturday, November 17:
9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

On Friday night, the Jubilee is hosting "Girl's Night Out". Men can shop, but there will be activities especially for women who want to treat themselves to a great time with their girlfriends!

Tickets can be purchased at the Fairgrounds for $10. Children's tickets (ages 6-12) are $3, and kids under 6 are admitted free. Parking at the Fairgrounds is $3.
