Holiday Tribute/Annual Giving Program

The Child Advocacy Center is kicking off its annual Holiday Tribute/Annual Giving Program. In lieu of buying gifts this year, honor your friends, colleagues, or family members by making a donation to the CAC. In exchange, the CAC will send them a beautiful card designed by one of the children who has been a part of the CAC. The card will let your friend know the name of the person who is honoring them, and that the gift in their honor is helping the CAC provide services and healing for child sexual abuse victims.

This year the packets containing the solicitation, the sample card, and an envelope for mailing in donations will be available at the Child Advocacy Center, and at Calagaz Photo off Springdale Blvd. in Mobile. This year the corporate sponsor of the event is  Budweiser Bush Distributing Co.

The company will be promoting the Holiday Tribute Program/Holiday Giving for the CAC by placing neck riders on all six-packs of all of their products sold in selected grocery and convenience stores. The neck riders tell the need for donations, how to participate in the Holiday Tribute Program and general holiday giving. A special QR code on the neck riders will direct those with smart phones to the CAC’s website, www.cacmobile.org  where you can donate online. All donations for the Holiday Tribute Program need to be received by the CAC by Wednesday, December l9, 2012.
