It's Girl Scout Cookie Time!

It’s that time of year again…time to stock up on your favorite Girl Scout cookies! Local Girl Scouts started selling cookies in early January.

A Girl Scout troop from Covenant Christian School visited Studio 10 to share more about cookie sales. The girls have already sold more than 1,000 boxes of cookies, but they want to sell more. Their goal is to sell 2,013 boxes of cookies.

Along with favorites like Thin Mints and shortbread, there’s a new Girl Scout cookie this year. Mango Cremes are vanilla and coconut cookies with a mango-flavored crème filling.

The Girl Scout cookie program teaches young girls important leadership skills. Cookie sales also pay for community projects and special activities like camp and other trips.
