The December tornados caused so much damage in the Mobile area, and the American Red Cross has been providing disaster assistance to affected areas ever since. But American Red Cross trailers and the new Red Cross facility were damaged too. So some on air and off air folks from local Cumulus owned radio stations are teaming up to raise money to help the Red Cross.
Local Cumulus Radio stations include WBLX, WDLT, WABD, WYOK, and WGOK-AM, and employees from each of those stations will ‘BUCKING UP” this Saturday. They will be at various intersections in Mobile and Prichard from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm to raise money for the American Red Cross.
Cumulus will be joined by various non-profits, Civic Clubs and Community Organizations to help with the campaign. As you're driving around Mobile or Prichard this Saturday, if you can spare a buck, or any money at all, please make a donation. All of the money raised will be
donated to the American Red Cross.
