Make Strides to End Breast Cancer

Put your walking shoes on and get ready for "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of South Alabama". The event, which benefits the American Cancer Society, will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012.

This inspiring 5 mile walk will start in the parking lot of the Mobile Civic Center, located at 401 Civic Center Drive. The purpose is to raise awareness and funds to help find an end to breast cancer. Hope is that this can be done by supporting the society’s efforts to find cures and support programs and services for all people facing the disease.

Registration for this walk that is open to everyone begins at 7:00 am and the walk begins at 8:00 am. There is no pre-registration or registration fee. Volunteers are still needed to ensure this year’s Making Strides event is a success!
