Making Waves to wipe out Ovarian Cancer

It’s a four-mile walk or fun, followed by a big party at the Flora-Bama. Put on by the sisterhood of Wonderful Wacky Women, the “Making Waves to Wipe Out Ovarian Cancer” event is sure to be a good time while raising money and awareness for a good cause.

The event is Saturday, October 27th, 2012 starting at 9:15am.

You can participate in the 4 mile walk or run, or the 1 mile fun walk. Immediately following, participates are asked to continue on with the fun at the Flora-Bama for the “Party Like There is No More Cancer” party. Be sure to join in on the raffle and silent auction, benefitting the USA Cancer Center and Covenant Hospice.

The cost of the event is $100.00 per person with 100% of race registration going towards the cause. It is $25 per person for Survivors of Ovarian Cancer, kids under 18 and Active Duty Military families.
