For weeks, the streets of downtown Mobile are filled with the sights and sounds of live marching bands, brilliant-colored floats and of course the crowds of parade goers that is Mardi Gras in Mobile. Most of the time the kids have to watch it all go by, but the Mobile Public Library is giving kids a chance to take part in the fun.
This Saturday, January 5th at the Mobile Public Library's Moorer/Spring Hill Branch, kid ages 4 to 7 are invitied to come out for a free Mardi Gras workshop! A Mardi Gras book will be read followed by Dino Mardi Gras Floats, Moonpies, a parade and more.
