Mardi Gras Then and Now

Each year, thousands of people gather to celebrate Mardi Gras in Mobile. A lot of Mardi Gras traditions are still honored today, but a lot of things have changed too. The way the floats are made has changed and the materials used to make the floats has changed. The artwork you see on the floats today is different that the art you would've seen on the floats on the 40's and 50's. The way the floats are illuminated is more advanced.
