Mississippi casinos take financial hit

Mississippi Casinos are taking a financial hit, because of Hurricane Isaac. The Mississippi Gaming Commission ordered all establishments on the coast to close.

One vacationer drove from Memphis for some Biloxi fun, but he says the Hard Rock Hotel staff told him he had to leave.

"I don't know right now. I wish they would have set me up with a place to stay. Since they checked me in and then in an hour kicked me out," Shaun Swroblewski said.

Joy Raymond went to Biloxi for shelter. She lives in New Orleans and remembers Hurricane Katrina all too well.

"I had free rooms at the Grand, so I decided to come get on higher ground," Raymond said.

But Raymond, like so many others, were turned away.

"I guess we are going to head back home I mean that's all we can do."

Harrison County extended its curfew until 12 p.m. Wednesday, because of the weather conditions.
