Have you ever wanted to get up close and personal with zoo animals? You can when you visit the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo in Gulf Shores! There are opportunities for you to play with and even feed baby White Bengal Tigers, Lemurs, Lambs, Red Kangaroos, and more!
Yeti and Kolkata are Snowy White Bengal Tiger siblings from the Marcan Tiger Preserve. The cubs are ready to pounce around and play with everyone four-years-old and older.
Tiger encounters are available by reservation at scheduled times throughout the day and can accommodate up to 4 individuals per time slot and will be filled accordingly. Pricing is $25 + tax for children ages 4-12, and $50 + tax for adults, plus the cost of regular zoo admission. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. To ensure a safe and fun encounter socks, closed toe shoes, and long pants are required.
You'll want to make time to hold, cuddle and play with the baby lemurs! These little guys will swing from rafters and climb all over you! This encounter includes gentle playtime with young Ruffed Lemurs in a shaded screened enclosure. It's available for adults and children of all ages. The cost is $12 per person, plus the cost of regular zoo admission. No reservation is required, just purchase your Lemur Encounter ticket at the time of admission.
