Mary Ann Fitzmorris, a freelance writer and talk show host, will be signing copies of her book, The Suzie Homemaker Chronicles, in Fairhope. The signing is Friday, March 1, 2013 from 6:00-8:00pm at Page and Palette. The Suzie Homemaker Chronicles is based on a long-running weekly newspaper column she wrote when her kids were at the right ages for great fodder.
The Suzie Homemaker Chronicles follows the adventures of a traditional American family with two kids and too many pets. This book, which is a collection of anecdotes culled from hundreds of newspaper columns Mary Ann Fitzmorris wrote for suburban newspapers for eight years, has been described as an easy, light read. Everyone will be able to relate to the Suzie Homemaker Chronicless in some way.
Mary Ann and her husband, New Orleans food writer and radio personality Tom Fitzmorris, own the website www.nomenu.com, which is about New Orleans food. Mary Ann is in charge of sales and development. The couple lives outside New Orleans with their dog Sooze, and their cats Twinnery and Tumbler.
Tom Fitzmorris New Orleans food writer and radio personality will also be signing his cookbook, "Tom Fitzmorris's New Orleans Food, and Hungry Town" at
Page and Palette.
