So many people get sick around this time of year, and Dr. Darren Waters from Greater Mobile Urgent Care says he's been seeing a lot of patients. Nationally, the number of reported flu cases continues to increase, but Dr. Waters says hasn't seen as many patients locally carrying the flu virus in the past couple of weeks. He says he is still seeing patients with flu-like symptoms.

Dr. Waters says washing your hands is the best defense against the flu and any flu-like illnesses, and he says if you're sick, stay home so you don't spread it to others. He says it's also a good idea to see a doctor if you think you might have the flu.
