The American Cancer Society will host a press conference at the Mobile Chamber of Commerce to officially announce a community-wide enrollment for its Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3), hosted by Infirmary Health, YMCA of South Alabama and Meyer Vacation Rentals.
The press conference will address the health, business and community impact of this collective effort.

To better understand the lifestyle, environmental, and genetic factors that cause or prevent cancer, the American Cancer Society’s Department of Epidemiology & Surveillance Research is recruiting 300,000 adults across the U.S. and Puerto Rico for a new research study, the Cancer Prevention Study-3 (CPS-3). The American Cancer Society hopes to recruit at least 800 participants in the Mobile area.
