About the Chef:
DeAngelo Parker was born and raised in Mobile, but lived in Atlanta
for over 25 years. He always wanted to bring chicken and waffles to Mobile. He first
discovered chicken and waffles in L.A. at Roscoe’s, then in Atlanta. After meeting the
owners of Gladys Knight’s Chicken and Waffles in Atlanta, he wanted to franchise a
location in Mobile. They weren’t offering franchises at the time, so he decided to start
RayRay’s Chicken and Waffles.
