INGREDIENTS:
2 (4 to 6 oz) Chicken breast, skinless
1/2 tsp Dried dill
1/2 tsp Onion powder
1/2 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Salt
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
2 tbl Soy sauce
2 tbl Brown sugar
STEPS:
Put chicken breast in a small bowl and sprinkle dill, salt, onion and garlic powder on top. Rub the chicken breast to evenly distribute the spices. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to cook.
In a small sauce pan, heat balsamic vinegar, soy sauce and brown sugar until combine. Remove from heat.
In a medium, oven safe saute pan, heat oil on medium high. Sear chicken breast for 2 to 3 minutes on each side. Brush generously with balsamic glaze, cover the pan with over safe lid or tin foil and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes or juices run clear.
Serve with vegetables or on top of green salad.
Note: Balsamic glaze can quickly be turned into a salad dressing. In a small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of water. Return glaze to heat and slowly mix in the cornstarch. Heat until glaze has thicken.
