Cake Truffles

INGREDIENTS:
Cake in your preferred flavor
Icing of choice
Milk chocolate chips
Colored white chocolate for drizzle
Mini cupcake

STEPS:
Bake cake according to recipe. Allow to cool.
Crumble cake in a mixing bowl and add desired icing, then mix thoroughly.
Use a mini ice cream scoop to make the cake/icing mixture into ball form.
Melt milk chocolate (Stirring often)
Dip each individual truffle into milk or white chocolate
Place on board (wrapped in parchment paper)
Allow to harden/set-up
Melt colored white chocolate for drizzle
Drizzle over truffle using either a fork or clear decorating bag with small tip
Cup into mini cupcake holders for presentation

Kaiser Realty is sponsoring a bake sale and yard sale to benefit the American Cancer Society on Saturday, March 24th from 7 am until 12 pm. The sale will be at the Kaiser Realty office located at 1557 Gulf Shores Parkway in Gulf Shores. We are selling all sorts of baked goods, as well as raffling off some fantastic baskets. Basket themes include Wine & Dine, Italian, Easter, Fitness, Family Fun Night, Spa and Beach. Raffle tickets are 6 for $5 or 12 for $10. Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance or at the event. There will also be all kinds of household items, clothes and furniture for sale.
