INGREDIENTS:
3 tablespoons margarine
1 10 oz. package (about 40) regular size marshmallows
6 cups Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® cereal
Canned frosting or decorating gel
Candy corn, M&M’s, candy-coated chocolate pieces and/or black string licorice
Food coloring (for spiders)

STEPS:
In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.

Add Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.

Using 1/2 cup measuring cup coated with cooking spray divide warm cereal mixture into portions. Using buttered hands shape each portion into a ball while mixture is still warm.

Jack-o-Lantern Krispies: Slightly flatten your ball so it looks like a Jack-o-Lantern. Place Jack-o-Lanterns on wax paper, or pan coated with cooking spray, and decorate with frosting and/or candies for pumpkin faces. Then wrap each Jack-o-Lantern separately in plastic wrap. Best if served the same day.

Black Cat Krispy Treats:   Place your still warm krispy balls on wax paper. Use frosting to attach candy for cat eyes, nose, mouth, ears and whiskers. Best if served the same day.

Spider Krispy Treats: Using buttered hands shape cereal mixture into eight spiders. Cool. Decorate with frosting and/or candies. Best if served the same day.

Note:
KELLOGG'S recommends that you do not use reduced calorie or tub margarine to make treats. The company also suggests that you do not store the treats for more than two days at room temperature in airtight container. To freeze, place in single layer on wax paper in airtight container. Freeze for up to 6 weeks. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes before serving.
