INGREDIENTS: (Mardi Gras Ice Cream King Cake)
1 tsp. butter
1 slice of King Cake ½ inch thick
1 scoop of Blue Bell Mardi Gras King Cake (1/3 cup)
STEPS:
Place butter in a small frying pan and heat on med. High heat. Add king Cake and lightly toast both sides of slice. Place cake slice on dessert dish. Top with ice cream.
Serve immediately. Makes 1 serving.
INGREDIENTS: (Mardi Gras Ice Cream “Martini” Sundae)
1 scoop Blue Bell Mardi Gras King Cake ice cream (2/3 cup)
Heaping tsp. chopped roasted almonds
1 tsp. green decorating icing
1 tsp purple decorating icing
2 whole purple grapes, skewered on 1 toothpick
STEPS:
Place ice cream scoop in center of a chilled martini glass. Sprinkle chopped almonds over ice cream. Drizzle icings in a zig-zag pattern over entire dessert. Place the grapes on the side of the ice cream scoop. Serve immediately. Makes 1 large dessert or can be shared by two.
