Turtle Pie in a Jar

Southern Decadence Desserts

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
4 tbls Melted Butter
1/8 cup- Sugar
4oz Cream Cheese Softened
31/2 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
4oz Cool Whip Thawed
Small jar of hot fudge ice cream topping
small jar Caramel topping
1 cup Chopped Pecans
6 - 8oz jars or oven safe ramekins and a stand or hand mixer

(Note: This is the quick and easy version. We make our own whipped cream and toppings at the shop.)

STEPS:
Preheat oven to 350. Combine crumbs, butter and sugar. Press a few spoonful’s into each jar. Bake for 6 minutes remove and cool completely.

In the bowl of a mixer, beat the cream cheese and condensed milk till smooth. Fold in cool whip. Pour into a saucepan.  Heat toppings till pourable but not too hot.

Now spoon in a layer of cream cheese mixture, toppings and pecans and repeat till jars are almost full.
Place lids on jars and freeze or cool in the fridge and eat!

About the Chef:
Tobi Lambeth is the Pastry Chef and co-owner of Southern Decadence Desserts.  She attended Virginia College at the Mobile Campus and specialized in pastry arts. Tobi says she started out making cakes from home and outgrew her kitchen.
