Megabus is making it easier for you to travel on the cheap. The company just announced the express bus service out of Mobile has now expanded to New Orleans. They’re really helping make travel more affordable in the southeast.

Now you can get from four different cities for just $1. You can travel between Atlanta, Montgomery, Mobile and New Orleans.

With the new route, there are two daily departures to New Orleans and the bus stop is right in the heart of the city, near the French Quarter.

Service to and from New Orleans begins on April 2nd but you should start booking your travel soon. Fares do start at $1, but prices go up as the travel date gets closer.

The buses are pretty neat, and state of the art, they have Wi-Fi and bathrooms. Click on http://www.megabus.com for more information on fares and schedules.
