MOBILE, Ala. - The students at Bayside Academy put in many hours of hard work to prepare for their performances of Peter Pan.
There will be plays of the fairy-tale classic starting March 7 - March 10 at the Pilot Center Theatre in Daphne.
Tim Kirby, the Director of Theater at Bayside Academy, says the children performing in "Peter Pan" are fifth grade through senior year students. He also says the students run sound, lighting, and backstage for the production.
The kids are in great hands on the flying wires. Johnny Pickett with Flying By Foy is the Director of Flying for the play. He has worked 84 productions of Peter Pan. His company has worked every Broadway performance of the play since 1954.
There will be four performances. On March 7 - March 9 performances start at 7:00pm. There will be a 2:00pm matinee performance on Sunday, March 10.
