There are certain apps that when you download them they have adds that accompany those apps and they can produce malware on your phone just like on a PC.  The fix is simple, all you have to do is delete the apps that are creating the malware.  But there is no way of knowing which apps are causing the problem so be careful as to which apps you download to your iPhone or Android.  Double check that the creator of the app is reputable and that the apps have very high reviews.
