MOBILE, Ala. - Samsung has announced its Galaxy Note 8. It's an 8-inch tablet that could give the 7.9 inch iPad Mini some stiff competition.
The price-tag will be a huge factor in it's success against the Mini. The Galaxy Note 8 device uses Android, and comes with a stylus pen. No price has been announced. You can get one during the second quarter of this year.
Samsung also announced it will unveil the Galaxy 4 smart phone on March 14th in New York. There aren't many details on the new phone's features other than the expectation that it will have a higher-resolution screen.
Tech experts don't believe the new Galaxy will slay the iPhone, but the Galaxy S3 did become the first smart phone to outsell the iPhone last year.
Your next favorite WiFi hot spot could be right behind the wheel of your own car, all thanks to General Motors and AT&T. They're teaming up to add 4G wireless service to several vehicles in the U.S. and Canada.
Starting next year, the system will be available on 2015 model Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac cars and trucks. Once the feature is available, you can ditch the DVD's and simply stream video to the back seat. GM's on-star navigation system will get a boost out of the deal.
Drivers could also get real-time traffic updates. No word yet on how much the service will cost.
