MOBILE, Ala. - A 17-year-old Virginia teenager has created a site that helps students who are afraid to raise their hand in class to ask a question. It' called "Hallway" and it's gotten the attention of Microsoft.

It's a social media site that loads your classroom and connects you with students in your school, and even around the world. Students post questions, and get answers from other students taking the subject.

Microsoft has gotten involved and the Hallway app should be available sometime early next year.

If you're hosting Thanksgiving dinner, there are some apps that can make cooking a little easier. IPad has a "Thanksgiving Menu Maker" app from Fine Cooking with recipes ranging from starters to desserts.

If you're cooking turkey for the first time, try the "Chow Thanksgiving Dinner Coach" app. Android users can try the "Thanksgiving Recipes" app. Also, there's a "Butterball Cookbook Plus" app with videos and voice commands to avoid screen smudges.

Twisting things up, literally, Samsung is reportedly working on creating bendable mobile devices. The mobile devices will be made using plastic instead of glass for a display that can twist, without breaking.

If you want one, Samsung is expected to release the bendable devices in the first half of 2013.

And, happy birthday to Twitter creator, Jack Dorsey.

That's your Daily Tech.
