BURBANK, CA - Sony officially joins the next generation of gaming. The company unveiled its long-awaited Playstation 4.
Sony made the big reveal yesterday at an event in New York. The gaming console has a new controller with a touchpad, and a "share" button, so users can broadcast their live gameplay to friends. The new Playstation should hit the market this year, in time for the holiday season.
Sony will need to break some major ground to compete with rivals "X-Box" and "Wii."
It looks like more people are moving toward pre-paid cell phones. About one in three cell phone owners in the United States are now choosing to pay as they go. Since June 2012, the total number of prepaid subscriptions shot past one hundred million.
The cost of prepaid cell phones is sometimes less than half that of a traditional billed service.
