Hair Styles Seen at New York Fashion Week

Want to know how to get the hottest hair styles for Fall? The ladies form the Sanctuary Salon in Fairhope were invited to New York Fashion Week 2012 and they're sharing the steps to get the looks from the runway!

Look one - "Knotty braid"
Step one:
Have the second day washed hair teased at the mid strand to ends and place in a low ponytail with a skinny rubber band.
Step two:
Begin your braid by tying a large knot at base. Then start a regular braiding pattern. Next switch to fish bone braid. At the bottom tie another large knot and seal with rubber band.
Step three:
Take knot at top and pull out, as if you where purposely creating woodies. Softly rough up fish bone in middle, and then do the same pull out effect on bottom knot.
Step four:
Flat iron tips of hair at the ends to get that edgy look.

Look two - "Soft vintage headband"
Step one:
Curl clean hair from mid strand to ends.
Step two:
Separate band and flip out with curling iron brush softly through with a boar bristle brush.
Step three:
Tie hair into a side ponytail. Wrap desired headband around head.
Step four:
Smooth out curls from pony with boar bristle brush.
Spray with Infinity hair spray for hold.

Look three - "Fun vintage crimp"
Step one:
Have second day hair.  Start crimping hair three inches away from scalp.
Step two:
Brush through with a wide-tooth comb only to finish look. Then spray with a Flash Brilliance.

Look four - "Swirly snail braid"
Step one:
On your second day hair, tie hair into two low piggy tails.
Step two:
Separate hair in ponytails into smaller sections and braid.
Step three:
Have fun now; tie up braids in anyway around ponytail base.
Step four:
Do the same technique around other ponytail just make sure you hide separation between piggy tails. Really get creative and design knots as you like.
